one 'embraces' a faith. Not necessarily simply chooses one. Being faithful to/in a 'faith' is somewhat a choice. Choosing to adhere to precepts, etc. of a tradition of faith.

Sorry to say, but 'most' everything I've read in this thread, I'm like, "What th' everlovin' hell?"

I can't follow this any longer.
