Cleveland's Francisco Lindor hits historic 30th home run [View all]

ANAHEIM -- When Francisco Lindor hit a solo shot in the seventh inning of Tuesday’s 8-0 win over the Angels, he joined some rare company.

That home run was the 25-year-old Lindor’s 30th of the year, making him just the second primary shortstop in Major League history with three or more seasons of 30-plus homers before the age of 26.

Alex Rodriguez is the only other player to accomplish that feat.

Lindor becomes a FA after 2021. The thought of him playing for a big market team for megabucks is heart-breaking but inevitable. One plus: he seems like a decent dude.
