My father worked for Ford in Teterboro, NJ. We had a-maybe '48, 53, a later Fairlane.
My Tiger was dark green and my college buddy with the Healy and I used to race at night on the country roads outside Ithaca, NY in the -60's. (youth invincibility, and all)

I don't know nearly as much about cars as you do, but my 2 dream cars are a '66 red Mustang convertible with an off white interior. (Saw one a couple years ago at a winery. !!)

And a '65, I think, Chevy Belair-- 2 door, either first choice powder blue and cream, 2nd choice red and cream.

Did you see Gran Torino?

That was my favorite Trouble With the Curve scene, also. karma, payback... yes, it was priceless...
