4. Nobody (almost nobody) plays the same position two days in a row.

All your "analytics" aside, how is anyone supposed to be good at their position (what position?) when the "versatile" strategy places players at a different position every game?

On the radio right now, leadoff double, walk, and the Giants don't score.

The "missing ingredient" among many that didn't show up at the trade deadline is a batter that pitchers can actually fear.

Estrada, Flores and sometimes Yastrzemski (who is streaky) are all the star power they have.

Two homers in a row by Arizona.

They have no business being in the playoffs. Almost by definition (and construction) a pick-up team.

And they extended Zaidi and Gabe Kaplan (play on words)?

They did not squeeze everything out of this roster. Most of their shiny off-season acquisitions spent most of the year in bandages.

And when this happens: HOLEY WTF???
Gabe puts a catcher in left field. This happened twice that I can remember off the top of my head.

Most errors in MLB 120.
Analytics are no substitute for fundamentals.
