1. Still amazed at much metal was in cars back then.

Huge steering wheels, awesome engines. I had a 57 Chev. for a few years, back in early 60's. The old turquoise and white model.
Drove thru Texas in Jan. of 1964, 25 cent hamburgers the size of a frisbee, gas was something like 25 cents a gallon.
