Visiting this group: Am interested in what you think about Amanda KNOX. [View all]

I do not follow these cases, know just the basics to know what's going on in the world. The Jodi ARIAS case is horrific but not intriguing to me. I see the Kermit _____ false doctor case to be, if true, a serial killer case, NOT an "abortion" case.

But KNOX... The interview this week is the first thing of any length I've paid attention to in this case, and I understand that she was being careful because anything she says will be used in the future situation. But the images of her as she was back then, so flaky, was she just a kid being a kid in her flakiness? First, they said she and the boyfriend (Rafael?) had spent the entire night together and she only went to her apartment the next morning and went straight to the shower without discovering the murder. Then (in the interview) this line of things was just abandoned. Then the bloody foot and hand prints were said to match the SECOND guy and his DNA was said to be inside the victim (like in sex), but THIS was dropped.

Even with the ordeal she's gone through, the maturity inflicted by the ordeal has not erased entirely the flakiness edge completely, and she had these sidewise, calculating glances... She almost seemed to resent her parents and family for all the sacrifices they made to be there with/for her all the time, like she (immaturely/selfishly) resented being INDEBTED so much to them.

Can anybody enlighten me on what the consensus here, among those who have followed this closely, is about her? Thanks.
