At least mine was polite enough to die early; leaving the wife and three kids, still at home, three months behind in the rent and empty pantry and dead broke. I was 15 when he died, and he was so mean that I had seriously considered killing him to get some relief for my mother, my sisters and myself. He left all four children broken to some degree, each in their own special way. He has been dead for over 50 years and I am not yet close to "forgiveness."

At least he was a good role model; when I was raising my children, I would always look back to see what not to do.
