15. Yes, the term "Lily-White Republicans" was coined by Texas GOP Chair Norris Cuney.

Cuney, an African American, was elected Texas GOP chair in 1886 and fought the Texas and National Lily White Republicans until they finally purged him in 1896. His daughter published his biography.
