While his identical twin brother remained on Earth.

In pics of the two after Scott returned, he is noticeably taller than Mark, due to lack of gravity on the ISS his spine expanded by inches.

That kind of thing is why NASA did this year long mission. They have a ready made twin study, albeit with power of one.
