3. Its simple once you understand the mindset of the right

Everything is "two sides" to them, and they decided long ago that "conservatives" are the "good guys". So If they face a situation where their side is to be seen as "wrong" or the "bad guy", then that would automatically have to mean that "the left" is "right" or "the good guy". It really is that simple to them. They can't ever admit someone on their side is "wrong" or "the bad guy" because it destroys the entire construct of "Conservatives good, Liberals evil". Again, it is that simple.
