AB 495 would allow any concealed carrier to have the gun in his car while on school grounds. If the person leaves the car, the gun must stay in the car and hidden from view. The purpose of this bill is to allow parents to pick up their kids from school, while staying in the car.

Having the gun in the school building would still be illegal.
