Do you (and County Supervisor Ridley-Thomas) believe that such a measure will make the NRA less influential???

I ask because at the moment, the NRA only counts as members about 4-5 million of the 90+ million gun owners nationwide.

The NRA is likely the only entity which will be willing to offer/underwrite such policies to its members. And this proposal would drive a significant percentage of those 85+ million other gun owners to membership and the policies that will be offered by the NRA.

It would seem to me that is not something that you or the good County Supervisor would truly want....
