But this is what makes the right to armed self-defense a Deep, Widespread Movement. All movements are built on shared values, beliefs, causes and objectives; in fact no movement can exist in any meaningful manner unless those shared experiences are in place. Oh, the loud talk by some, amped up by MSM, and righteously mumbled by some politicians can LOOK like a movement is occuring. But the day-to-day fund-raising and outreach (as in the OP's example) which goes on every day in this country is what constitutes the foundation of any strong sustaining Movement.

This is a lesson for all progressives who want to build ANY Movement of shared values, beliefs, and objectives.
