28. there are mass murders everywhere

regardless of gun laws and don't even need to use guns. European news isn't often reported in the US. Off the top of my head I can think of four mass shootings in Europe, three with automatic weapons. Do you think Sweden and France passed stricter gun laws, like banning machine guns? Oh wait, they did decades ago. Australia? Mass murders by arson and Sydney having 100 plus drive by shootings in an eighteen month period? Shootings make national news.
Did the Happy Land Fire get the same coverage as any shooting? This was a guy that got mad with his girlfriend and murdered 87 people with a can of gas and a match.

Even if you ban guns and you actually save the people killed, they will be offset by those would have saved their life with a gun, if they had one. Meanwhile, criminals will still get their guns just like addicts get their heroin and meth. That is why Australia and UK had a spike then back to where it was before. BTW, heroin deaths outpaced gun murders last year.
