5. Another poem about historical event with inaccuracies, The Charge of the Light Brigade,

written by the UK Poet Laureate of the time, Alfred Lord Tennyson (1809-92).
"Into the valley of death rode the six hundred."
There are actual records of that battle, and there were six hundred and nine that made that ride.
I did not make any points when I pointed that out to the high school teacher.
