my mother was very upset by them. When John Lennon was shot I remember her crying. She was a stay at home Mom, super loving and fun, and we were very close. Codependent, even, which we had to work hard to untangle when I was a teenager. The images shown on the tv are what stuck with me from the 14th st bridge crash.
