MANY steps forward were taken with the kittens, today (pics) [View all]

Since coming inside, Eira, who yesterday escaped, hid, and nailed me when I found her, has always been very, very timid. When I did pick her up she was like a little statue. She just sat and stared ahead. Today she curled up on my lap, gave me an abundance of kisses on the face and arm, and started purring up a storm. She spent well over an hour on my lap either grooming or sleeping or giving me kisses.

Carys, who escaped today, has been doing better and made great strides at being socialized. Gwyn has been there, almost from the start.

So maybe tomorrow I'll see how things go if they are allowed to be outside of the playpen. I know they won't be here much longer. Well, maybe Carys, for a little while but I think she now has a forever home like up, too.
