What's for Dinner, Sat., May 25, 2024 [View all]

I had a nice haul from one of my gardens this afternoon, so I've been experimenting with all my fresh produce.

Look at this gorgeous arugula:

I made this salad with it:

The salad has grape tomatoes, chopped, toasted walnuts, and parmesan with walnut/red wine vinegar dressing. Ground violet salt that my girlfriend in FL sent me.

This is mustard leaf. I thought it best to cut all the bigger leaves. I've been looking for a recipe and haven't found anything yet that intrigues me, but I have a phone call coming up with the RG. He might have good ideas.

Maybe some sort of Indian dish?

I've also been experimenting with mint tea. I brewed the leaves and then poured frozen fruit in the blender with it. The first one I did was pineapple, which was terrific. The blender gives it a foamy top. Fun to drink. I added a little agave.

Then I will have a few meatballs with Korean BBQ sauce.
