What's for Dinner, Thurs., April 11, 2024 [View all]

Overcast, gray day with a little rain, so perfect for soup. Matzoh ball soup. I am going to load this up with fresh herbs from the garden. Chives, marjoram, oregano, tarragon, parsley, basil (indoors, but grown to a tall, full plant). I'm not putting all those herbs in, but some of them.

Picked up crab-avocado rolls from the sushi store while I was out, so a few of them for an appetizer.

Went out for greens for a possible salad and look what I found: my arugula patch going to seed.

I have another smaller patch at the school garden, but I'll be sowing a new patch immediately. Love this stuff!

Snickerdoodle kombucha.

Dessert: chocolate chip cookie. Milk.
