7. I learned to use Dutch oven while

leading the cub and boy scout troops in Alaska. We became fairly proficient with corn bread, pancakes, monkey bread, breakfast conglomerates with eggs and Bacon/sausage/Spam, as well as the beans and lasagna.

I still cook over the fire using dutch ovens set in the coals or suspended over the flame. I like using the frozen Hawaiian bread loafs to make monkey bread for those cold morning breakfasts before hitting the river with the rod.

Even if the bottom is burnt it still tastes better than most anything I can cook in the kitchen.
