Mine is cast iron snd I preheat it snd the lid in the oven to make sure it is at temp before putting the dough in.

Spray some water for steam. Keep temp at 425 and then remove lid, lower temp to 400, and finish.

Forget exact times. I think 20 minutes at 425, then 30 at 400. Varies by loaf size though.

Crispy crust, nice texture.
