6. by the time I would have had breakfast ready

It would have been noon, so I went straight to lunch and had Chinese dumplings with hoisin sauce. The only thing I needed, though, was some sliced Napa to go with it. Guess I'll head to the Korean greengrocer for that and some ingredients that will be needed for one of the winter salads I posted yesterday.

I had a rough night last night. My cat Oliver was sleeping in my spot and wouldn't move, so I tried using him as a pillow. That was fine with him except I had forgotten how he loves to "design" my hair. So he started up with the hair designs. Comb, comb, comb, slobber on his paw, apply to hair. Paw, paw, paw. Slobber.

No, just no.

Next approach was to push the remote on the bed, hoping to topple him off as I raised the head of the bed.

Bad move. That just made him king of the hill. He loved it. He could now surveil from on high. I could see the glee on his face and he was raised up a foot or so,

I tried a few GTF out of heres! No speak English.

The rest of the night was spent with him literally trying to push me off the bed with his four paws. He would lie on my side and push with all four paws.

This is clearly an "empowered" cat.
