I don't worry about it because I have low blood pressure. I once read where you don't need to worry about sodium unless you eat prepared foods. I so rarely have a rotisserie chicken--like you, one every now and then--that I don't even think about it. I'll bet I haven't had one of these for six years. The RG scorns them, undeserving, I think.

And as far as other prepared foods go, very rare in my diet because I like making my own homegrown vegetables.

However, I was so impressed with how tender this chicken was. It was the perfect soup ingredient.

I checked and U.S. Dietary Guidelines for sodium are 1,500 milligrams per day.
