She was diagnosed with Covid yesterday. We may be allowed to visit on Saturday or Sunday. I have not been cooking much...just simple stuff. My husband doesn't want me to go as I had heart surgery in early April to replace a bad valve. It was genetic. I had it my entire life.

However, I can't stand to think of her dying alone. So today I was home all day as I have been exposed myself...so no dinner with the kids this year. I made a comfort meal of lightly 'fried' chicken with white gravy (WW friendly) baked beans and mixed vegetables...sugarless chocolate pudding with a tiny bit of peppermint bark broken up and added for dessert to the pudding with whipped cream.

It tasted great and was comforting. I will make a turkey for hubs and me tomorrow, as well as a pumpkin pie, and give thanks that both of us are healthy and that no matter what my sister-in-law is not suffering. Happy Thanksgiving everybody.
