7. With the cost of ground beef lately, It (or any beef)

has become a luxury for us. Which is okay, because fish and poultry are probably much better for us anyway. But the local market had 80/20 ground beef on sale for $1.99 a lb. You had to buy five lbs, but that's a lot of ground beef for ten bucks. I can see a meat loaf in my future when my wife returns. She makes a good one.

i found a tube of 1 lbs at my fave super market but stopped using it as it has sodium. AllaN01Bear Nov 2023 #8
