and was average at best. We have a vegan restaurant here that uses rice paper bacon but their's is so good! They will not share how they make it or where they get it.
We've bought lots of subs and the flavor can be good but the texture can be off or the texture is good but it's not bacon-y.
There's lots of recipes but I'm...lazy

I started buying turkey backs and using them to make soup stock instead of beef.
