but several decades ago I couldn't find one of those disposable aluminum baking pans for turkey, a day or so before Thanksgiving. So I grudgingly paid $70.00 for a metal one with a rack. Oh, dear lord. The turkey baked much faster than in the aluminum pan and was vastly better.

So my advice to everyone is buy a real baking pan for your turkey. You won't regret it.
