... my dog eats Purina One salmon kibbles (dry food) and it's suddenly hard to find. It's "temporarily out of stock" on Amazon too. The price has been steadily increasing since last year, and I buy the 16-lb. bags probably once per month. I hadn't heard about the salmon shortage mentioned in the OP, but this explains a lot.
Maybe I should be looking at something different to feed my dog. He's not gonna like that!
