2. My hot summer go to in Mass was sourdough rye bread

layered with whatever, topped with Swiss cheese sprinkled with a little summer savory and dill weed and popped into the toaster oven until the cheese was gooey. It was hot and very satisfying and didn't heat the kitchen up.

The high desert is easier to take than coastal Mass. because it's so dry here. I still live out of the toaster oven most of the summer.

I just wish somebody make a really good sourdough rye out here.
