The important thing for most people of this group to remember is that they are as anonymous as they make themselves. That is, if you don't put any identifying information out there, you won't have to worry about the dickheads who mock people who post here. Personally, I don't give a damn about them.

I have bipolar 1, and I don't go around advertising it in real life, but it's not going to hurt me if more people know about it. Many people are just ignorant about mental illness and they fear what they do not know. I know how to handle that, and I'm usually not bothered by people like that. Those who mock people who post here are really in that same category. The problem with them is that they have no empathy or compassion. I'd much rather have my problem than theirs.
