What I believe is unusual is our reaction to the stimulus. I will yell at the top of my lungs to drown out the offending sound if the remote is not close.
I live alone, so I am not normally dealing with someone smacking their lips.
I will just remain a cantankerous old lady yelling at the commercials....lol.
