A safe place where people can talk about mental illness and how it is affecting their lives, whether it is their own illness or that of a loved one or friend.

A place where mental illnesses are to be treated as authentic medical illnesses. a supportive haven for discussion and information sharing about mental health issues

I'm not seeing anything in the OP that has to do with talking about experience with mental illness, discussing or sharing information about mental illness.
