Yes, the shit is real and I will be the first to tell you I see exactly what you are seeing but I know that while so much of this is out of my control, there are things we can do that we do control.
The first is to please take care of yourself and the people you love and do what you can to care and nurture one another. Even if it’s small, even if it’s reaching out to a neighbor or friend - be there for one another and do what you can for each other. Take care the best you can for your health - both physically and mentally. Sleep and try to take a walk in nature if you can. I don’t know if there is anyone to talk to, but try to have contact with people and call a free counseling line if you feel desperate.
Support groups that are getting out the vote and registering people. Even if it sounds so simple, voting is the most important thing we can do. Protest if you see an opportunity to support your fellow citizens for what is right and against what isn’t.
There is strength in numbers and it’s important to not feel alone. You aren’t alone.
