some guys had one in a small apt where I lived, it was pretty homemade/basic, like floating in giant tub of warm water in the dark. imagine your bathtub being as big as a twin bed, turn out the lights, quiet neighborhood or sound reduced room... if you meditate or spend quiet time by yourself it is nice. if you are used to electronic and other noise, can't handle thinking or being alone it might take a little getting used to.

try it, especially if it doesn't cost a lot. you might like it but how will you know? it isn't going to hurt you. (unless the water isn't clean or something like that)
