The called it "slow, labored and stilted," and said, "everything about it is off."

"In the end, “Da 5 Bloods” feels like a clumsy hybrid of two fine impulses — to make a heist movie set in Vietnam, and to make a statement about race in 2020. Alas, each intention doesn’t serve the other, and so both go unrealized."

I'm a big fan of Lee's work. I find it groundbreaking, insightful, and beautifully executed, so I'll draw my own conclusions ... as soon as I get a Netflix account.
