Watched it a few years ago and thought it was one of the best crime drama's I've ever watched. The 2nd time around has not disappointed, either. The acting is fantastic and this isn't a "shoot 'em up" type series. The storyline involves police corruption, the unit (AC-12) that fights it and the perps - mainly executive officers - who abuse it.

I was going to post an OP about this series, but thought I'd add to your post instead.
