8. When absolutely basic facts like the current and shape of plugs

in Europe are blithely overlooked, I find I can't even begin to go there.

It's actually a problem I frequently have with movies and TV. No one bothers to fact check anything, not one knows enough of stuff to have a clue when they get something totally wrong. No wonder people accept anything and everything they see on the internet.
