I had a *slight* case of shingles on one side of my face a couple of years earlier than they say you could expect to have it. Believe me, the pain, the burning, the nerves... I wouldn't wish a full blown case of that on my worst enemy. As soon as I became eligible, I got the first shot, and then followed up with the second shot. Have never regretted it. Had no side effects other than what you usually have with an injection... sore arm, some tiredness. So totally worth it!!!!
