The clitoris & penis are the same body part; one was just signaled in utero to grow a bit bigger & the urethra migrated so the exit is at the end of it rather than the base. When performing surgeries on such parts to effectively reverse that process, it's really important to know where the various structures and parts are and what their functions are. And the same of course for the "opposite" surgery.

Maybe they should be invited to the conferences mentioned in the linked article. Then again, maybe the problem isn't one of lack of scientific knowledge, but priority of learning...
