After studying the Radical Right for years & giving it a lot of thought, I've concluded that a primary characteristic of the movement (cult) is the Radical Right Supremacy Syndrome, which consists of 6 aspects:

1) Racial (white) superiority
2) Gender (male) superiority
3) Sexual orientation (heterosexual) superiority
4) Economic (middle to upper class, not poor) superiority
5) Religious ("christian&quot superiority
6) Political (Republican/conservative) superiority

It seems like all of their views & actions derive from their Superiority Syndrome.

It's something I'd like to write more about, if I ever have time.
