It is the place of the Alpha, to enforce social "norms". Anyone falling outside those norms, is to be dealt with in the harshest possible manner, to discourage other "deviants".
The crux of the problem, is that "Alphas" are generally poorly equipped to define these "norms", as they tend to see themselves as the "ideal".

What most of us want to know, is an age-old question: Who the f*&^ died, and left the "alphas" Boss?
