Unemployment in the Gaza strip is 40%. A lot of idle hands with easy access to weapons. Were Hamas to spend more of the money received from Iran and UAE on developing the Gaza economy rather than obtaining weapons, it may go a long way to solving chronic violence in Gaza. But something tells me this is the decision to be made by their beneficiaries rather than Gaza authorities.
