1. This is why I am not a fan of the Knesset's party list system.

It's basically designed to force coalitions leaving the governing party open to blackmail by smaller parties like Shas and United Torah Judaism.

And yes it's blackmail: if they don't get their way they threaten to pull out of the coalition.

Speaking of whiny, demanding Haredi assholes, I just might fly El Al again now that a judge has forced them to stop moving passengers (especially females) around to appease them. If they don't like sitting next to a woman then they can stand all the way to Israel.
