with an overwhelming arms advantage of jet strikes, tanks, artillery, US bombs btw, and an organiced occupying force against the remnants of Hamas hiding in tunnels with small arms, and Lebanese citizens working and trying to live and do their jobs and survive IDF bomb strikes on their work places in Beirut's financial district?

Are you kidding? Do you realize what you just wrote?

I've found it best not to be cavalier about peoples' lives...especially those of the remaining hostages held by Hamas.

Netanyahu has won. There's no more reason to continue the killing.
