That's not growling, buddy. That's chuffing. "Growling" is negative, aggressive, a warning. Chuffing is language. Well, to a dog anyway. She's talking to you. I've placed my bet. SOMEBODY PAY ME!!!! lol!

I won't analyze further (though I could, and you'd be pleased) but just take those times where she lies next to you and insists on attention in a positive way.

She's a beautiful girl.
