We have whole neighborhoods ,towns and cities designed around car owners.

For me I cannot wait for car culture to die.

Mass transit is vital.

If you can't drive, buy, insure and maintain a fucking car. You're fucked

On around 700 bux which is what SSI disability pays you cannot even dream of owning a car.

There are hundreds of thousands more people in my same boat. Then there are the millions of workers that have to choose between rent or a car..

Stupid uses of zoning to favor businesses wishes made it impossible to go from here to there by walking .Because everything is too far from everything else.

Public transport needs to be expanded vastly. Either that or make things more accessable to more people.

If you want renewable energy to be the primary energy use ,expanding transit is vital.
As electric cars are out of reach for most people.

The problem is entire states are planned assuming you have a car.

This MTA bullshit reminds me that the lives of poor people don't matter at all.
