...and the environmental and economic cost to replace all the world's pipelines with those not subject to hydrogen embrittlement, the only purpose of which will be to greenwash fossil fuels, from which hydrogen is made.
These "people" object to ignorance and are familiar with something that fossil fuel marketeers like to avoid: Science. Being poorly educated marketeers they are completely unqualified to state what anyone else knows or doesn't know.
There are over 2.3 million kilometers of gas pipelines on this planet. Hyping 800 miles of specialized hydrogen piping in one of the world's largest natural gas producing regions - the association of hydrogen pipelines (for industrial captive use, not for fucking million dollar Potemkin hydrogen trucks) with a natural gas region is a result of the fact that hydrogen on this planet is overwhelmingly made, with exergy destruction - by steam reforming of dangerous fossil fuels, with the waste from the dangerous fossil fuels being dumped directly into the planetary atmosphere.
A Giant Climate Lie: When they're selling hydrogen, what they're really selling is fossil fuels.
Is is really too much to assume that people are so stupid as to not see the reason for the association?
The problem with people running the marketing of fossil fuels and greenwashing them as "hydrogen" is that these people expect and thrive on making sure that "people know nothing." These people thrive on and promote ignorance.
If someone does know something, or even a great deal, the fossil fuel greenwashing squad rebranding them as "hydrogen" whine insipidly.
Speaking for myself, I have toured some very large industrial facilities where hydrogenations were conducted on a multi-ton scale. I have worked with chemical engineers all over the planet.
It's too bad for those whose who raison raison d'être is to sell a very bad idea to push a fossil fuel promoting agenda that there are people who know a great deal about energy, including the laws of thermodynamics.
