You ask IRS to calculate EIC. There is no form to calculate it yourself. You can enter a # or use Worksheets A & B. So they tell you the IRS will do the calculation. Then they didn't do it. So they jerk you around. Honestly I had forgotten about it, kudos to Biden IRS for following up and reminding me. But still ... I have to do the work for them that they said they would do.
