1. The Tennessee senators tried talking "sense" to the workers.

They were clearly desperate to shoot down any foothold a union may take in their state and pleaded with the workers to shun the deal lest "China wins". They actually tried to make sense that if those autoworkers got a raise in pay that improved their lives, China would be able to sell cars cheaper, and they wouldn't want that.

I guess appealing to their patriotism didn't work on the MAGAs this time. They need to get rid of the senators who tried to sell them down a river. Even Volkswagen wanted a "Workers Council", a form of union.
