Yep. That’s about the size of it.

Been there/Done that.

Both of ‘em are busy with their own lives and doing just fine. It’s nice NOT to have that heavy lift anymore. I gave up EVERYTHING for them. EVERYTHING. I had a secure job in broadcasting- a real anomaly, I know. And I gave it up to be there for my kids.

And they’re both doing just fine. And hey, yeah, I got to the top of my game - and gave it up for them. But it was worth it. We’re all good and somehow still on speaking terms. And frankly, I don’t miss that alarm going off at 3:30am so I could get to work for that primo shift in drive-time.
